Administrative Coordinator

Location:College Station, TX
Employment Type:Full Time
Description:This position is responsible for coordinating meetings, preparing travel arrangements and itineraries for senior staff and visitors and assisting in the execution of communications for the company. In addition, the incumbent will also serve as support in the area of human resources.
Duties:• Provides general administrative and clerical support

• Assists in travel arrangements and meeting coordination

• Ensures regulatory compliance

• Administers staffing and employment procedures

Qualifications:Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience communications, business administration, human resources or other related discipline

Minimum of 1 year experience in administrative and clerical services in an office environment.

Beginner knowledge in employment and labor laws.

Intermediate knowledge in recruitment activities.

Advanced skill in customer service.

Advanced skill in computer functions such as word processors, spreadsheets, presentation applications and internet usage.

Other Abilities:
• Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
• Ability to make decisions and recommendations
• General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Skills in database management and record keeping
• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
• Must be able to communicate effectively through oral and written communication
